In the vibrant documentary Codeswitch, Sohna explores why her bicultural friends, Alice Ann and Sarah, each navigate their color and identity differently. While one takes great pride in her Surinamese roots, the other chooses not to define herself within that framework. Their stories reveal how code-switching is an essential part of feeling connected and valued as a bicultural young person in the Netherlands.
